Private pool party reservations for the Redcliff Aquatic Centre will open Friday, May 1st!

Time slots will run from 3:30pm – 8:15pm Saturdays, and 3:30 – 5:45pm on Sundays. 

Full facility rentals up to 40 people are available for $125/hr, with an additional $50 for every 15 additional people, up to 115 people for $250/hr GST included.

Private lessons will be available on Saturdays and Sundays starting in June from 11:00 – 11:30am, or 11:30am -12:00pm.

Hydrant flushing has begun, and will take between 4-6 weeks to complete.

In areas where fire hydrants are flushed, residents may notice temporary water discoloration and/or a temporary reduction in water pressure.

The discoloration is not harmful and can be resolved by flushing cold water through a faucet until the discoloration has subsided.

While some products are marked as “flushable” they do not break down like toilet paper and can cause significant issues within both private plumbing and the municipal sewer system such as creating blockages, sewer backups, damage to pumps and infrastructure, and increased maintenance costs.

All wipes, (including baby wipes, disinfecting wipes, and “flushable” wipes), paper towels, hygiene products, and similar materials should be disposed of in the garbage.

By making this small change, residents can help protect municipal infrastructure, reduce unnecessary costs, and prevent avoidable backups.
