PUBLIC NOTICE TO ELECTORS OF THE TOWN OF REDCLIFF, PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
Proposed Bylaw No. 1923/2021
TAKE NOTICE on April 12, 2021 Redcliff Town Council has given first reading to Bylaw No.1923/2021, a Bylaw of the Town of Redcliff to amend the Redcliff Land Use Bylaw 1698/2011.
WHEREAS the purpose of this Bylaw is to include Shipping Containers as a Discretionary Use – Commission in the P1 – Park & Recreation District.
A Public Hearing in general accordance with the Municipal Government Act and the Town of Redcliff Procedural Bylaw, and consideration of the second and third reading of proposed Bylaw 1923/2021 will be held in Council Chambers at 1 – 3 Street NE, in the Town of Redcliff, Alberta on Monday, May 10, 2021, beginning at approximately 7:00 p.m.
A copy of proposed Bylaw 1923/2021 and related documents may be inspected (#1 – 3rd Street NE, Redcliff, Alberta) during normal office hours (8:00 am to 4:30 pm) at the office of the Legislation and Development Director, or accessed on the Town of Redcliff website (www.redcliff.ca).
Any person who claims to be affected by the proposed amendment of the Land Use Bylaw may make a representation to the Town Council at the Public Hearing. Oral submissions are limited to ten minutes.
Persons interested in speaking at a public hearing may register with the Legislation and Development Director prior to the public hearing. Names of registered speakers for a public hearing will be released to the public on the Friday preceding the public hearing, May 7, 2021.
Persons interested in providing a written submission may provide the Legislation and Development Director with their submission prior to 12:00 o’clock noon Wednesday, May 5, 2021. Submissions may be mailed to Box 40, Redcliff, Alberta T0J 2P0 or sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Valid written submission received will become public information on the Friday prior to the public hearing. Council will accept written or oral submissions on the date of the public hearing.
