Climate: Sunshine coupled with warm dry summers means more time to spend outdoors and exploring our Town and region. The low altitude of the area produces a very warm climate, with particular areas often matching or surpassing the “hot spot” of Canada. Winters have become very mild over the last few years with average temperatures on the rise.
Redcliff receives one of the highest number of daylight hours in all of Canada, hence the large number of greenhouses located in the Town. The average temperature during July is 20 Celsius (68 Fahrenheit); during January is -10 Celsius (4 Fahrenheit). Mean precipitation is only 350 mm (13.7 inches) per year.
