Winter is coming.
With the possibility of snowy conditions forming this long weekend, the Town of Redcliff would like to remind drivers and residents to prepare for the upcoming winter season.
When road conditions deteriorate, please slow down, leave extra following room between vehicles, and allow yourself more travel time. Always drive for the conditions present.
If you are heading out on the highway this long weekend, remember to check out https://511.alberta.ca/#:Alerts to find the latest road conditions before you travel.
Do you have an emergency kit? If not, now is a good time to put one together with essential items like warm blankets, extra clothing, a flashlight, snacks, and water.
