Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC), Suffield Research Centre, at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Suffield, will conduct a large-scale explosive blast between August 12th and August 13th.
Residents in the surrounding communities may hear the blast or see the plume.
Fire suppression resources will be on the scene, and multiple mitigation measures will be employed throughout the operation, with blast trials only proceeding under suitable weather conditions.
